What size are the Water Wings?
Our main Water Wings are designed for little swimmers aged 2 to 5 years, around 12 to 30kg. Always check the product page for the confirmed size guide.
Are they a life jacket?
No. They are a swim aid for supervised water play, not a certified flotation or life-saving device. Always keep your child within arm’s reach in or near water.
Can they be used at the beach?
Yes, in calm, supervised water. Keep your child within arm's reach and avoid rough surf, strong currents or unsafe conditions.
How do I fit them?
Place arms through the floats, buckle behind the back and adjust snugly. The two-hand buckle helps resist little fingers, but adult fitting and active supervision are always required.
Should I add watershoes?
Watershoes are a strong add-on for hot sand, pool edges, slippery tiles, shells and rocky shores.
Do you ship to New Zealand, Singapore or overseas?

Safety & Supervision
Are Water Wings a life jacket?
No. La La Luna Water Wings are a swimming and flotation aid designed to support confidence during supervised water play. They are not a life jacket, life-saving device or replacement for adult supervision.
Do I still need to supervise my child while they wear Water Wings?
Yes. Children must always be actively supervised in, on and around water. Royal Life Saving Australia says active supervision means focusing all your attention on your child and staying within arm's reach.
Should I check the Water Wings before every swim?
Yes. Before each use, check for holes, tears, leaks, damaged stitching or loose buckles. The ACCC recommends checking swimming and flotation aids before use and replacing them if damaged.
Can my child wear Water Wings at the beach?
They can be used for calm, supervised water play, but extra care is needed around waves, currents and deeper water. They should never be relied on in surf, strong currents or open water where conditions can change quickly.
Can my child wear Water Wings while boating?
No. For boating or fishing, children need an appropriate life jacket. Royal Life Saving Australia specifically recommends wearing life jackets for boating and fishing.

How do I know if Water Wings fit properly?
They should feel snug and secure without digging in. Your child should not be able to easily slip out of them, and the back strap should sit comfortably fastened behind the body.
What age and weight are Water Wings suitable for?
Our Water Wings are designed for young children within the recommended age and weight range shown on the product page. Always follow the specific product instructions and never use them outside the recommended range.
My child is between sizes or close to the weight limit. Should I size up?
Water Wings are not something to grow into. They need to fit securely now. If your child is outside the recommended range or the fit does not feel secure, do not use them.
Can babies use Water Wings?
Water Wings are not designed for newborns or young babies. For babies, use age-appropriate swim products and always keep them within arm's reach.

Will Water Wings teach my child to swim?
No product replaces swimming lessons or active supervision. Water Wings can help children feel more confident in the water while they are learning, but swimming skills should be developed through practice, water familiarisation and proper swim lessons.
Can Water Wings make children overconfident?
Any flotation aid can create confidence, so adults should set clear water rules. Children should learn that Water Wings are only used with an adult watching and are not permission to enter water alone.

How should I store Water Wings after summer?
Rinse them with fresh water, let them dry completely, then store them flat or gently folded in a cool, dry place. Do not store them damp, in direct sun or in a hot car.
Can chlorine or salt water damage them?
Chlorine and salt are normal parts of swimming, but they can shorten the life of any swim product if left to dry on the material. A quick fresh-water rinse after each swim helps protect the fabric, stitching and straps.
When should I replace my Water Wings?
Replace them if you notice leaks, fading, damaged stitching, loose straps, broken buckles, punctures or any change in buoyancy.
